Paver patio and landscaping in Uptown Charlotte

The backyard was patchy grass and bare dirt with a loose ring of stones for a fire pit. We laid a paver patio out from the deck with a built-in round fire pit at its center, and edged it with a clean border.

Around the patio we put in mulched planting beds with shrubs and evergreens along the fence, and new lawn to the side. Low-voltage path lights along the beds make the patio usable after dark, and a built-in grill with a stone base and a stone countertop sits on its own paver pad.
